One of the most important things you will ever do is to find and cultivate a devotion to a patron saint. I know in my life (and I have three which tells you how much help I need) these powerful intercessors have done so much to help me grow in my relationship with God.
Taking on a patron saint(s) doesn’t have to be difficult. I always tell people to look for the saints with whom they share something in common. Perhaps if you’re a doctor, you can look to St. Gianna. If you’re a teacher, maybe you look to Aquinas. If you’re a meat factory worker, St. Anthony the Abbott. Or if you really love coffee, St. Drogo (yes, there really is a patron saint for coffee drinkers).
Whatever the case, whatever the saint, take one (or three) on and you will be blessed.
